In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viktor Pettersson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Salkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 10th minute, Kevin Keegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Ove Salkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viktor Pettersson, 2-0. Viktor Pettersson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ove Salkvist sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Salkvist came free, but Viktor Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Jonasson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 28th minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Isaac Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Salkvist. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viktor Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Isaac Jonasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Salkvist got free with Viktor Pettersson in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chen Ao Fan made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Skövde AIK defense, Ove Salkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Pettersson. The Skövde AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Pettersson should have stopped the shot. After 54 minutes of play, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Pettersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute Ove Salkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Ahlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Hans-Georg Luabunnum took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Pettersson. Viktor Pettersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skövde AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Incendio was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Gubbhöft's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Hans-Georg Luabunnum advanced and headed the ball into goal, 7-1 in the 89th minute. Hans-Georg Luabunnum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Pettersson having to make a save. Knut Rudberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Jonasson having to interfere. BK Gubbhöft were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skövde AIK for a fine match.
