In the 15th minute, Henry Fagerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Henry Fagerberg scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Sefastsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Per Tunström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pål Sefastsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tymoteusz Watarz charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tymoteusz Watarz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when National Team Cape-Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymoteusz Watarz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Fagerberg took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Sefastsson. Pål Sefastsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Wiktor Dahlman struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Pål Sefastsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnöfors FF. When Per Stenberg came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Stenberg couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström got a free kick in the 50th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Fredric Melander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. National Team Cape-Verde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rönnöfors FF the free kick. Fredric Melander hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Henry Fagerberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Pål Sefastsson to make any attempt to save it. National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Henry Fagerberg 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Pål Sefastsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Tunström in the 79th minute. Per Stenberg took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Sefastsson. Pål Sefastsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Rönnöfors FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than National Team Cape-Verde.
