Ernst Ahlbom's late challenge caught a Rönnöfors FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst Ahlbom helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Ahlbom. The crowd rose to their feet as Sigvard Biörnberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niclas Andersson. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 9th minute, Per Tunström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niclas Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Per Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Niclas Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Stoke FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. Per Tunström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niclas Andersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Niclas Andersson made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Per Tunström sent off a good shot on target. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Per Stenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stenberg in the 31st minute of play. Niclas Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stoke FF's zone, Per Stenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Andersson came out of the goal and Per Stenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Browall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Henry Fagerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rönnöfors FF and the Stoke FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Fagerberg to maneuver through the defense. Per Tunström scored 6-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niclas Andersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Björkdahl. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Browall in the 82nd minute of play. Wiktor Dahlman kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sardar Azmon got free with Magne Gunnarsson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Battal Seyyit Şehzade. Rönnöfors FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
