After 5 minutes HEJA ESLÖV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celedonio Dominguez who took care of the corner kick. Hammarby IF's Celedonio Dominguez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Simon Bergsten in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hammarby IF's Controller Serapio got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rune Stenman kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Simon Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Hök, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by HEJA ESLÖV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Dominguez was slow to take the kick. During this time Hammarby IF's players had a chance to rest. 20 minutes into the match, Jonas Hök dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Bergsten, 1-0. Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Dominguez in the 23rd minute of the match. Simon Bergsten made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gösta Söderberg sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Felix Bergstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HEJA ESLÖV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammarby IF the free kick. Felix Bergstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jonas Hök came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simon Bergsten could save by the left post. In the 29th minute Jonas Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Bergsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Daniel Brovall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Hök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Simon Bergsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Hök in the 39th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Hammarby IF's Simon Bergsten threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celedonio Dominguez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 42 minutes into the game, Jonas Hök recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Simon Bergsten. Jonas Hök showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Simon Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Hök, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when August Mattsson made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Söderberg in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Bergsten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the game, Ola Bremming cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Simon Bergsten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Bergsten came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Hammarby IF's Celedonio Dominguez. But to his dismay, Celedonio Dominguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling August Mattsson in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Rune Stenman charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ola Bremming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Ola Bremming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Bergsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Bergsten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Hök's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 92 minutes of play, Hammarby IF's Gösta Söderberg made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Bergsten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Hammarby IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
