Joel Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Vester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Aznar went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 8th minute of play. Holger Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Lagerberg in the 13th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Joacim Hansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Holger Vester quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Holger Vester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Käller went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Celedonio Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19th play minutes Celedonio Dominguez shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Wilhelm Galle and just under the crossbar into goal. Hammarby IF were furious when Controller Serapio was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 25 minutes into the game, one of Hammarby IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Holger Vester had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Sebastian Käller's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kind of Blue's attentive Tonhão Rodrigues managed to snatch the ball when Blanco Mera made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Sebastian Käller struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Holger Vester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kind of Blue. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Vester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Käller in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Vester saved Hammarby IF from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Blanco Mera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Käller made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Hammarby IF got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Söderberg. When Joacim Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Kind of Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Hansson couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Blanco Mera with Celedonio Dominguez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 62 minutes of play, Hammarby IF's Celedonio Dominguez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilhelm Galle was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Francesco Totti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Totti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kind of Blue's Östen Högman was substituted for Zhuo Ke Le. Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Blanco Mera in the 76 minute of the game. After 83 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Vester was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hammarby IF's Holger Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 88th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Hammarby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blanco Mera to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 94th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Hansson to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kind of Blue fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hammarby IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
