Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Donecea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Hugo might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Oskar Söderström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Hugo ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Scrotum Kickers FC's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Hugo. If Cosmin Donecea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Maradona to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Radomil Michnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Scrotum Kickers FC's Aurel Crivoi threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cosmin Donecea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Per-Oskar Söderström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
