Silvestre Hustaz charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Hustaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvestre Hustaz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Trocha Media FC's Prospero Playo got control of the ball when Aílton Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Trocha Media FC's Silvestre Hustaz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgílio Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Compostela FSCMZ's Virgílio Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Felipillo in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Felipillo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Miranda saved Compostela FSCMZ from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Bastos got free with Prospero Playo in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evandro Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Prospero Playo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Felipillo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Miranda saved Compostela FSCMZ from getting behind. Trocha Media FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo Gizon in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Claude came free, but Virgílio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Cristian Urbano replaced Aílton Baptista. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswaldo Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Urbano. Compostela FSCMZ's Virgílio Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Hustaz in the 55th minute of play. Prospero Playo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Compostela FSCMZ's Cristian Urbano. But to his dismay, Cristian Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Urbano in the 62nd minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Prospero Playo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Galvão. When Romário Borges fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Compostela FSCMZ's protests and gave Romário Borges a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Gizon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Trocha Media FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 71st match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Urbano in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Baiano to maneuver through the defense. That made the score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Virgílio Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Felipillo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Trocha Media FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
