Gunnar Nilsson scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Borras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Atakan Cire threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jordan F1 91-05's Wiktor Hodyl quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gunnar Nilsson scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Borras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Toma Ba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ajax Colombiano and the Jordan F1 91-05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Toma Ba hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gunnar Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Gunnar Nilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Borras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atakan Cire during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jordan F1 91-05 booed when Ajax Colombiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atakan Cire didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Gunnar Nilsson sped through Ajax Colombiano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cayetano Borras. After 34 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Toma Ba. If Gunnar Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Jordan F1 91-05 were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nazeer Mhlathe was the one to do the kick off. Gunnar Nilssons short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Cayetano Borras to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute, Nazeer Mhlathe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Borras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Gunnar Nilsson succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. A collision led to Jordan F1 91-05 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ronnie Peterson hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Atakan Cire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax Colombiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atakan Cire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Nilsson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Borras saved Ajax Colombiano from getting behind. Cayetano Borras made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Nazeer Mhlathe sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Jordan F1 91-05's Cayetano Borras threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gunnar Nilsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Jordan F1 91-05's Nazeer Mhlathe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cayetano Borras. That made the score 0-9 after 80 minutes of play. After 85 minutes of play, Jordan F1 91-05's Gunnar Nilsson made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Borras was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Nilsson in the 89th minute of play forced Ajax Colombiano's goalkeeper Cayetano Borras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nazeer Mhlathe came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Jordan F1 91-05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazeer Mhlathe couldn't finish the play. Ronnie Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cayetano Borras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Borras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Nilsson in the 93rd minute. Jordan F1 91-05's Nazeer Mhlathe got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jordan F1 91-05's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
