In the 4th minute Gigi Câmpeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancho Folguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Andersson made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Otsoko Bodegas sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Karl-Ove Andersson got control of the ball when Otsoko Bodegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marquez Temiño was slow to take the kick. During this time RESISTIR SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Marquez Temiño almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Karl-Ove Andersson did a great save. Pancho Folguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Bărbânță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihai Odobescu in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Felix Chirtoacă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pancho Folguera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pancho Folguera came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Felix Chirtoacă. But to his dismay, Felix Chirtoacă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Emanuel Finteșteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pancho Folguera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Karl-Ove Andersson made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Egoitz Zulaica sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Tudor Bărbânță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pancho Folguera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 27th minute Alin Agud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancho Folguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pancho Folguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Bărbânță, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, RESISTIR SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Câmpeanu came free, but Pancho Folguera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC UNIREA Alba Iulia getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cornel Câmpeanu hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, one of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC UNIREA Alba Iulia. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, RESISTIR SC's Marquez Temiño got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Karl-Ove Andersson. Otsoko Bodegas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Karl-Ove Andersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RESISTIR SC. Pancho Folguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Bărbânță in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Elodio Corte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 65th minute Otsoko Bodegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Bărbânță got free with Pancho Folguera in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pål Ström hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Karl-Ove Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egoitz Zulaica in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Otsoko Bodegas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RESISTIR SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. 80 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Egoitz Zulaica came free, but Karl-Ove Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, RESISTIR SC's Elodio Corte got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Mihai Odobescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. After 89 minutes, Felix Chirtoacă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia and the RESISTIR SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Chirtoacă kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, RESISTIR SC's goalkeeper Pancho Folguera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Bărbânță.
