Joel Catarinense started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the RESISTIR SC defense, Ronaldo Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pancho Folguera. The RESISTIR SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pancho Folguera should have stopped the shot. In the 9th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camel Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Egoitz Zulaica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes in the game Orlondo Zamanillo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lico Sarro. Pancho Folguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 15th minute of play. Dagoberto Tande made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ronaldo Joinvilense however managed to control. Pancho Folguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when RESISTIR SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Ribera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo do Japi's Dagoberto Tande suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 25 minutes into the game, Orlondo Zamanillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RESISTIR SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo do Japi the free kick. Galo do Japi made a substitution. Gene Simons replaced Dagoberto Tande. Orlondo Zamanillo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Pancho Folguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Joinvilense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pancho Folguera was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 36th minute of play forced RESISTIR SC's goalkeeper Pancho Folguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Joinvilense got free with Pancho Folguera in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RESISTIR SC's Pancho Folguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Pinheiro in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Japi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 68th minute, Fernandinho Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, RESISTIR SC's Pancho Folguera got control of the ball when Ronaldo Joinvilense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pancho Folguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Catarinense in the 78th minute of play. Pancho Folguera was a little too slow when Joel Catarinense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-6. 84 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Joinvilense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo do Japi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RESISTIR SC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Joinvilenses short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Pancho Folguera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 92 minutes into the match, RESISTIR SC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but Pancho Folguera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Galo do Japi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RESISTIR SC.
