Daniel Cabrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xuacu Xuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Cabrera got free with Xuacu Xuan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xuacu Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homero Thomson in the 40th minute of play. TZILACATZIN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victoriano Distiratsu in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on TZILACATZIN's corner Victoriano Distiratsu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xuacu Xuan quite easily take care of the ball. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıç Kerim, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Kılıç Kerim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Lira.
