The Botev Plovdiv 1912 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Benigno Bingen's late challenge caught a ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Bingen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Evgeni Kalkandzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Bale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evgeni Kalkandzhiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Bale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evgeni Kalkandzhiev in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Bale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute of the match ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг got a corner. Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tzvyatko Shanov ran over to the corner to take the kick. ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's Georgi Velinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dragolyub Buchkov in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Bale saved Botev Plovdiv 1912 from getting behind. Moises Blasi came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Georgi Velinov could save by the left post. Ivan Perišić kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Tzvyatko Shanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doychin Karamalkov in the 45th minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Christian Bale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evgeni Kalkandzhiev made a kick off. Di Kun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Georgi Velinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Bale came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's Doychin Karamalkov. But to his dismay, Doychin Karamalkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 67th minute Kajetan Daszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Botev Plovdiv 1912 defense, Evgeni Kalkandzhiev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Bale. Georgi Velinov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Di Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Kun in the 91st minute of play forced ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
