After 9 minutes ...Pingue S.C....'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Cavenaghi who took care of the corner kick. 10 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhang Hao Qing. Taltum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. Javier Abin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 35th minute of the match. When Flavio Cifuentes came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Taltum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Cifuentes couldn't finish the play. Michael Pardaves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhang Hao Qing having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Freitas was the one to do the kick off. Sébastien Gavilanes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Flavio Cifuentes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Abin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Cifuentes got free with Javier Abin in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Espinosa Marco hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Alesandro Gavilanes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Taltum FC's Andres Tufiño quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Javier Abin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 91st minute of the match.
