Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Revolución Joao FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Youssef Malek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Figueiras. DALO S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youssef Malek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rui Figueiras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youssef Malek's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 25 minutes of play, Revolución Joao FC's Youssef Malek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Figueiras was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lode Van Hemel. Rui Figueiras came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Revolución Joao FC's Youssef Malek. But to his dismay, Youssef Malek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Cuero Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rui Figueiras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olavo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mora Liebana in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Aguinaga Casasola got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lode Van Hemel kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Mora Liebana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Fias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Olavo Velloso made a huge save. After the first half Revolución Joao FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Iosub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mora Liebana, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Youssef Malek struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Rui Figueiras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolución Joao FC. With an all-out effort, Revolución Joao FC's Rui Figueiras threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Youssef Malek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cuero Ibañez kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Leandro Bartoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Figueiras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Bartoli ran back to his position shaking his head. Rui Figueiras was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Leandro Bartoli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leandro Bartoli really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 77th minute Leandro Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Revolución Joao FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cuero Ibañez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 87th minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rui Figueiras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Mora Liebana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Revolución Joao FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
