After a defensive mix-up in La Acade's zone, Nichifor Turdeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Aritza came out of the goal and Nichifor Turdeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, La Acade's Kip William sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izaak Lopez de Toro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Izaak Lopez de Toro managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when La Acade's Kip William fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Colombo in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Isias in the 48th minute of play forced La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
