In the 47th minute, Taaniel Hill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Mambru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute, MORPH's Gustavo-Hernán Funes Mori seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gustavo-Hernán Funes Mori the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MORPH protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo-Hernán Funes Mori had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. MORPH made a substitution. Delmar Udalaitz replaced Emiliano Berdaitz. A sloppy throw-in by Dorin Horia in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MORPH's Ambrosio Estevez. A hard shot 93 in the game by Billy Drake from a close distance when the talented Melquiades Mambru managed to make a qualified save. MORPH's players were relieved. Rodrigo De Paul took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Mambru. Melquiades Mambru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The MORPH supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brown Puerto Madryn's performance. The match ended with a win for Brown Puerto Madryn.
