In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Justicialista FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Eliu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Justicialista FC's Caio Pereira, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Justicialista FC. In the 20thth minute of the game Saturnino Romo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Justicialista FC's Cirilo Eliu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Justicialista FC booed when ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Diamant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Romo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Eliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Justicialista FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. After taking down the ball on ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s corner Tobias Xacintu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cirilo Eliu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Teodoro Eneko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Romo got free with Cirilo Eliu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saturnino Romo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cirilo Eliu made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Justicialista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Romo came free, but Cirilo Eliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Eliu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Romo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Påk in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Hazard in the 44th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Eneko to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Justicialista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Pereira to maneuver through the defense. When Saturnino Romo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Romo couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Eneko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Oliverio Kahn made a huge save. Cirilo Eliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Mats Liljeström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 67th minute, Justicialista FC's Teodoro Eneko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka was substituted for Saturnino Romo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Leo Bikendi was substituted for Tudor Hurezeanu. 72 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Caio Pereira came free, but Oliverio Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Hernan Tanio with Maurício Monsanto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Justicialista FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerzy Marchefka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Jerzy Marchefka might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Eliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Marchefka ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliverio Kahn was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Eden Hazard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eden Hazard really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. If Jerzy Marchefka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cirilo Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Marchefka in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerzy Marchefka in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Eliu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
