After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Mar de Ajó's zone, Daniel Järvenperä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleopas Plouffe came out of the goal and Daniel Järvenperä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosme Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Lindholm in the 18th minute of the match. Teofilo Adrio came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kleopas Plouffe could save by the left post. In the 22nd minute of the match, Afanasiy Mozolin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kleopas Plouffe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. David Best's late challenge caught a MDQ Raptors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Best helped the player get up and apologised. David Best hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. MDQ Raptors FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Defensores de Mar de Ajó's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abelardo Rocendo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Abelardo Rocendo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kleopas Plouffe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Elequemedo came free, but Cosme Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
