The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when MDQ Raptors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Venceslao didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 5th minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Cosme Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Adrio in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Emiliano Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Järvenperä in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Afanasiy Mozolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, MDQ Raptors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afanasiy Mozolin to maneuver through the defense. Cosme Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Francesco made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Cosme Francesco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Emiliano Velasco hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afanasiy Mozolin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Selatse. Fernando Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hortêncio Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Emanuel Lucila broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Järvenperä made a kick off. Dinu Ivănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cosme Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the MDQ Raptors FC defense, Alvaro Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Francesco. The MDQ Raptors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Francesco should have stopped the shot. Cosme Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 64th minute of play. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afanasiy Mozolin in the 69th minute of play. When Emanuel Lucila fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Despidida AFC's protests and gave Emanuel Lucila a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Lucila hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ursino in the 73rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Daniel Järvenperä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despidida AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Teofilo Adrio scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Selatse, making the score, 3-2. Cosme Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 94th minute of the match. Despidida AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
