Leopoldo Jacinto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Denimir Bebin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th match minute, EK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to EK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Beloslav Yachkov hit a great ball. In the 18th minute CSKA-LULIN were awarded a corner. Niklas Örnberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led CSKA-LULIN's Niklas Örnberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Denimir Bebin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leopoldo Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Denimir Bebin made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denimir Bebin was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladislav Dzhalev made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, EK's goal looked a bit too open when Mito Kulov came free, but Denimir Bebin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Jacinto in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denimir Bebin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denimir Bebin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Denimir Bebin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto in the 62nd minute of play. After 96 played minutes CSKA-LULIN got a freekick which was hit by Mito Kulov. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CSKA-LULIN fans cheered their team off the field, for while EK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
