Juventus Țiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bai Xi Jing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Bai Xi Jing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 8 played minutes Juventus Țiu got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Chiriloaie. After 9 played minutes F.C.DrobetA-Știința- got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Valderrama. In the 11th minute, Manuel Boteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristinel Costeiantu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 19th minute, Bai Xi Jing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Marius Bălașa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Xi Jing in the 23rd minute of play. Juventus Țiu's Marius Bălașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bai Xi Jing in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Boteanu in the 28th minute of play forced F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Costeiantu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Popoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Juventus Țiu's Manuel Boteanu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cristinel Costeiantu but with some difficulty. In the 31st minute, Ernest Bărcăuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Bai Xi Jing got a free kick in the 32nd minute. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Cristinel Costeiantu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.DrobetA-Știința- from getting a goal against them. Carlitos Valderrama's late challenge caught a Juventus Țiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlitos Valderrama helped the player get up and apologised. Carlitos Valderrama hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Barros Schelloto to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernest Bărcăuan made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Mihele. A collision led to F.C.DrobetA-Știința- getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dacian Popoiu hit a great ball. Cristinel Costeiantu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Mihele in the 62nd minute of play. After 64th play minutes Bai Xi Jing shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Marius Bălașa and just under the crossbar into goal. 71 minutes into the match, Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Marius Bălașa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Barros Schelloto. Bai Xi Jing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marius Bălașa came out and tried to block the shot, but Bai Xi Jing slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 73rd minute. Bai Xi Jing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Bălașa came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Bai Xi Jing. But to his dismay, Bai Xi Jing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Cristinel Costeiantu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Mihele, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Vic Alexander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marius Bălașa. Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bai Xi Jing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marius Bălașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C.DrobetA-Știința- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
