An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Teofil in the 11th minute of play forced Eigtheenstars 2's goalkeeper Ignacio Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban José Andrada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Aznar got free with Ignacio Valery in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Anselmo Txilar could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Ignacio Valery however easily saved by the left post. Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Eigtheenstars 2 from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Faro was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Eigtheenstars 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Txartiko to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Aznar in the 57th minute of play forced Eigtheenstars 2's goalkeeper Ignacio Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Eigtheenstars 2 booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Teofil in the 68th minute of play. Ignacio Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Aznar in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Guansa's Esteban José Andrada got control of the ball when Feliberto Soter tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Teofil in the 77th minute of play forced Eigtheenstars 2's goalkeeper Ignacio Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eigtheenstars 2's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
