The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazimierz Madajczyk during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, The Waldos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Madajczyk to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Isias came free, but Adriano Pappalardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. chacarita juniors were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after The Waldos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arkhip Ilyin took the corner. The corner led to chacarita juniors's Kacper Trochowski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Celso Eate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. David Dewulf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Pappalardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Isias in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute chacarita juniors were awarded a corner. Arkhip Ilyin went to the cornerflag to take it. Prudencio Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adriano Pappalardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Dewulf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Cayo in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match The Waldos got a corner. chacarita juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro Pagomari ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alvaro Pagomari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adriano Pappalardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 47 played minutes chacarita juniors got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Tipi. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prudencio Isias to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Isias in the 52nd minute of play forced chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Adriano Pappalardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Dewulf came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by chacarita juniors's Moises Cayo. But to his dismay, Moises Cayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. David Dewulf made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Arkhip Ilyin sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Prudencio Isias made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Pappalardo. chacarita juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The Waldos made a substitution. Leandro Millrick replaced Marin Ştefănescu. Adriano Pappalardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Isias in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to chacarita juniors getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Leonides Lehoi hit a great ball. When Prudencio Isias came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the The Waldos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Isias couldn't finish the play. Evandro Ortiz's late challenge caught a chacarita juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evandro Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, The Waldos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Ortiz to maneuver through the defense.
