Generoso Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Legio X Eqvestris's zone, Felix Platon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Gustau came out of the goal and Felix Platon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeusz Rudy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute José Paradela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Platon got free with Ariel Gustau in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Gustau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Platon in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Tadeusz Rudy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Sabino was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Platon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
