Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roland Banaszak started the match with the kick off. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Jago in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Lisandro Nuñez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Llorienzo. Lisandro Nuñez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Artur Quintas charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Quintas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artur Quintas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Dimas during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lisandro Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Llorienzo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Jago in the 18th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Mateo Llorienzo managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lisandro Nuñez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Mateo Llorienzo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Nuñez. In the 44th minute Roland Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Llorienzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

51 minutes into the match, Lisandro Nuñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Llorienzo. Merengue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lisandro Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Dario Astigar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roland Banaszak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. Lisandro Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Nuñez in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Llorienzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Nuñez in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Llorienzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 75 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Llorienzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Frances got free with Dario Astigar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Wen Lang Qing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Albino Dimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Cordarrell's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When Edelmiro Quintyn came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Merengue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Quintyn couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SAN LORENZO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Merengue FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
