Rigoberto Baraquiel's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Baraquiel helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelino Chaime might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over D.J. Dolić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Chaime ran back to his position shaking his head. D.J. Dolić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 8th minute of play. Palermo were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Masked Stars FBJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saul Felo took the corner. The corner ended in Saul Felo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Masked Stars FBJ's D.J. Dolić did a great save. In the 11th minute, Santiago Mino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. D.J. Dolić was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. D.J. Dolić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Francis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Palermo's Victorino Francis got control of the ball when Gaston Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorino Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Goren in the 19th minute of play. Victorino Francis made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gaston Fanuco sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Gaston Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Masked Stars FBJ's D.J. Dolić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Olsson in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Leon Richie took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Victorino Francis to make any attempt to save it. Victorino Francis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Txartiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Masked Stars FBJ got a freekick which was hit by Elias Loiola. D.J. Dolić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Mino in the 30th minute of the match. Ciriaco Goren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victorino Francis came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciriaco Goren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Masked Stars FBJ defense, Marcelino Chaime kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of D.J. Dolić. The Masked Stars FBJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that D.J. Dolić should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Masked Stars FBJ's Leon Richie dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Richie made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ciriaco Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Masked Stars FBJ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Francis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Masked Stars FBJ's D.J. Dolić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Masked Stars FBJ from getting a goal against them. Palermo's Victorino Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Fanuco in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Masked Stars FBJ's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Gonzalez came free, but D.J. Dolić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. D.J. Dolić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Palermo's D.J. Dolić threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnoldo Medina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute Gaston Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Goren struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Victorino Francis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Masked Stars FBJ. A collision led to Masked Stars FBJ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Herminio Emesto hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Arnoldo Medina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of D.J. Dolić. The goal made the score 4-3. The supporters of Palermo booed when Masked Stars FBJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. D.J. Dolić acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Saul Felo. Victorino Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Fanuco in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Marcelino Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but D.J. Dolić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Masked Stars FBJ booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palermo's Patryk Wiater was substituted for Marcelino Chaime. Santiago Mino hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
