When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adrián Espadas sped through Villa Mitre City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ariel Ponc. When Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Mitre City's goalie prevented a goal. Arsenio Maria hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ariel Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hernan Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 minutes, Iordanis Karatzaferis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soroca F.C. and the Villa Mitre City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dan Wennerqvist had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Urbano Mendiko's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Arsenio Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dan Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Villa Mitre City defense, Adrián Espadas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Ponc. The Villa Mitre City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Ponc should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Adrián Espadas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Long Yuan Di hit a great ball. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Villa Mitre City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Soroca F.C.'s corner Gustavo Tartalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ariel Ponc quite easily take care of the ball. Arsenio Maria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Fernendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Ponc came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Villa Mitre City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amador Venceslao took the corner. Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ariel Ponc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 65 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Ponc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Răzvan Necula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Ponc having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Răzvan Necula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ariel Ponc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Ariel Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Ponc stood somewhat misplaced when Răzvan Necula came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 79 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 89th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Ponc was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Soroca F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
