After 17 minutes, Gustav Svensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GARIBALDI FC and the Soroca F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, GARIBALDI FC's Gustav Svensson got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gustavo Tartalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rene Llorian. GARIBALDI FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Ekain during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 20th minute of play. Hernan Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, GARIBALDI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Colas to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Rene Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrián Espadas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Llorian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Rene Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Colas in the 36th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Adrián Espadas lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Rene Llorian. Rene Llorian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrián Espadas went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Adrián Espadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Adrián Espadas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 56 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Constancio. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Romulo Thomas replaced Gustavo Tartalo. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when GARIBALDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Constancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Răzvan Necula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rene Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Hernan Lano with Răzvan Necula as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Răzvan Necula came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Necula couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Hernan Lano made a precise shot to the right of Rene Llorian. GARIBALDI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in GARIBALDI FC's zone, Răzvan Necula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Llorian came out of the goal and Răzvan Necula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GARIBALDI FC made a substitution. Dedê Koehler replaced Astor Colon. In the 77th minute, Răzvan Necula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. GARIBALDI FC made a substitution. Erubiel Dubardo replaced Lázaro Ekain. In the 82nd minute, Răzvan Necula made a precise shot to the right of Rene Llorian. GARIBALDI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when GARIBALDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Amador Venceslao shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Llorian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GARIBALDI FC! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Soroca F.C. fully deserved thier win.
