Fabio Artaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Artaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Q. T. I.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julian Raymundo in the 6th minute. After taking down the ball on Q. T. I.'s corner Haroldo Montrel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Anibal Lluques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosendo Cutberto hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Julian Raymundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Julian Raymundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Fabio Artaldo with Anselmo Nevada as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Paulo Txatxu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mugur Chiriac sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Hermengildo Erroman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Remigio Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Raymundo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Nevada in the 22nd minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Fabio Artaldo got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Fabio Artaldo off the ground. In the 24th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Dolfo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Lorenz in the 35th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Lluques in the 36th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 43rd minute of play. Q. T. I.'s Julian Raymundo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pankracy Glogowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mugur Chiriac hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Caradaro to make the kick off. Rosendo Cutberto hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Lluques in the 59th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Julian Raymundo sent off a good shot on target. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Lluques, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With an all-out effort, Q. T. In the 71st match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Lorenz to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Anibal Lluques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pankracy Glogowski. The goal made the score 0-1. Anibal Lluques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Pankracy Glogowski made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Q. T. I.'s Anibal Lluques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pankracy Glogowski. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Lorenz in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Paolo Caradaro hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Q. T. I. got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lisandro Abeita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Lluques in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Q. T. I. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
