The Nina fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zeledon Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Macerio in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Nina fc's Saul Macerio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeledon Lordi. Zeledon Lordi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Aldo Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Lordi having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Nina fc's Rubens Prata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-9. Martin Ignazio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Zeledon Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Prata in the 84th minute. Rubens Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Zeledon Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nina fc's Aldo Navarro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mariano Evis in the 89 minute of the game. The Nina fc fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Nina fc's Rubens Prata looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Rubens Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Lordi was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jedi Knights's goalkeeper Zeledon Lordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nina fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
