Papo Abeitia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Oscar Frascuelo made a huge save. Deyan Tătăruşanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesor Abadie in the 6th minute of play. Deyan Tătăruşanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nesor Abadie went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 8 minutes, Iordanis Anastasiadis made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Ciclon's Deyan Tătăruşanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Frascuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Wayar in the 12th minute. Deyan Tătăruşanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nesor Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Octavia's Mihai Gherase sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deyan Tătăruşanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihai Gherase was the one to do the kick off. The referee showed Leandro Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 63 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ciclon's goal looked a bit too open when Nesor Abadie came free, but Deyan Tătăruşanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Mihai Gherase took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Deyan Tătăruşanu to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nesor Abadie in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deyan Tătăruşanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Delmar Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the game, Benino Abello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Ciclon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Octavia the free kick. In the 84th minute, Benino Abello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ciclon's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Gherase came free, but Deyan Tătăruşanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Gherase in the 93rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Ciclon's goalkeeper Deyan Tătăruşanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benino Abello in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Frascuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Octavia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
