Nova Soccer's Piero Quispe got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Geleberto came free, but Maurilio Duque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Piero Quispe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Discípulos de Ayn Rand the free kick. In the 10th minute, Piero Quispe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arlindo Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Discípulos de Ayn Rand got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Sampaio. Manos Manteca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Hyuga in the 13th minute. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Geleberto in the 14th minute of play. Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donat Collier in the 16th minute of the match. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Octavio Geleberto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque. Maurilio Duque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, Donat Collier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manos Manteca. Donat Collier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Geleberto in the 31st minute of the match. Manos Manteca acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zenaido Aramoyana. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Maurilio Duque came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Ambrosio Lonzo. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Lonzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Lonzo in the 41st minute of play. The corner led Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Gudesteo Abaunza to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurilio Duque despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Deisler in the 45th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Lonzo in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Lonzo to make the kick off. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Deisler in the 55th minute of play. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Deisler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Favila Villaren in the 61st minute of play forced Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Gudesteo Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Octavio Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hyuga came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque got control of the ball when Octavio Geleberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Lonzo in the 71st minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Nemanja Vidic. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Deisler in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Ricardinho Custódio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Deisler in the 81st minute of play. Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piero Quispe in the 90th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Aramoyana. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Zenaido Aramoyana got a free kick in the 91st minute. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Abello in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Donat Collier came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Discípulos de Ayn Rand left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nova Soccer.
