When Benino Abello fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Ciclon's protests and gave Benino Abello a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Club Atlético Ciclon got a freekick which was hit by Benino Abello. Maurilio Duque made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Papo Abeitia sent off a good shot on target. Nemanja Vidic hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Papo Abeitia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurilio Duque was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Papo Abeitia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Maurilio Duque made a huge save. The supporters of Club Atlético Ciclon booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piero Quispe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurilio Duque was a little too slow when Papo Abeitia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. Deyan Tătăruşanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piero Quispe's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Papo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donat Collier to make the kick off. Deyan Tătăruşanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piero Quispe in the 52nd minute of the match. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Deyan Tătăruşanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donat Collier in the 55th minute of play. Club Atlético Ciclon's Deyan Tătăruşanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piero Quispe in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Club Atlético Ciclon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Wayar to maneuver through the defense. Xurdin Abellaneda hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenaido Aramoyana in the 64th minute of play forced Club Atlético Ciclon's goalkeeper Deyan Tătăruşanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Nova Soccer's Piero Quispe in the 69th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Deyan Tătăruşanu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Atlético Ciclon through an amazing save. It was a well-played corner which Piero Quispe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Favila Villaren hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Piero Quispe scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deyan Tătăruşanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Papo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Donat Collier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benino Abello, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of Nova Soccer booed when Club Atlético Ciclon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Ciclon's Deyan Tătăruşanu got control of the ball when Steve Hyuga tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Papo Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Club Atlético Ciclon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Papo Abeitia couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlético Ciclon fully deserved thier win.
