An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Aballe in the 2nd minute of play forced Hiumboys FC's goalkeeper Tarzan De la Cuadra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Laércio de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Tarzan De la Cuadra. Hiumboys FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
