Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Onega made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Jacob Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Pulpo Paceño's Kamil Glik got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Guerra. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Andrade in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Ascencio saved El Pulpo Paceño from getting behind. Daniel Onega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sporting Cristal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Aristides Lluc scored to the left of an out of position Quinito Abellaneda, making the score, 1-0. After 26 minutes of play, El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quinito Abellaneda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Lluc took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinito Abellaneda. Quinito Abellaneda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some careless play in the El Pulpo Paceño defense, Wágner Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicanor Ascencio. The El Pulpo Paceño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicanor Ascencio should have stopped the shot. Quinito Abellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Wágner Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Ascencio. El Pulpo Paceño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wágner Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, El Pulpo Paceño's Joélson Guerra got a free kick in the 45th minute. Nicanor Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wágner Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Svetoslav Genkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Abellaneda having to interfere. Aristides Lluc struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Quinito Abellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pulpo Paceño. 57 minutes into the match, Sporting Cristal's Wágner Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Sedeni Abellaneda in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Pulpo Paceño's Joélson Guerra. Quinito Abellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Sporting Cristal's Wágner Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save El Pulpo Paceño from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Mino Abellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Pulpo Paceño's Joseph Lockwood was substituted for Aristides Lluc. The supporters of El Pulpo Paceño booed when Sporting Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mino Abellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes Sporting Cristal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kamil Glik who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Kamil Glik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Quinito Abellaneda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Lockwood in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinito Abellaneda saved Sporting Cristal from getting behind. Wágner Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Ascencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wágner Andrade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicanor Ascencio. That made the score 3-3 in the 89 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Lockwood in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quinito Abellaneda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quinito Abellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Onega in the 95th minute of play. Mino Abellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Joseph Lockwood made a precise shot to the right of Quinito Abellaneda. Sporting Cristal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. El Pulpo Paceño walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
