The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Abeijon got free with Nicanor Ascencio in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lluc in the 11th minute of the match. Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Lluc in the 13th minute of play. Nando Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Lluc in the 15th minute of play. Nicanor Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Medeiros in the 19th minute of the match. Ramiro Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Lockwood came free, but Nando Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lluc in the 29th minute of the match. When El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Escuadrón Mercenario's goalie prevented a goal. Aristides Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Estevon Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nicanor Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevon Abancens in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Nicanor Ascencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estevon Abancens.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Estevon Abancens was the one to do the kick off. Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Escuadrón Mercenario from getting a goal against them. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevon Abancens in the 69th minute of play. In the 77th minute, El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Escuadrón Mercenario made a substitution. Peli Abalos replaced Enrique Abeijon. In the 80th match minute, El Pulpo Paceño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celino Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevon Abancens in the 81st minute of play. But to his dismay, Ramiro Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 85 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Celino Abeijon. 86 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goal looked a bit too open when Estevon Abancens came free, but Nicanor Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Estevon Abancens sped through El Pulpo Paceño's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicanor Ascencio. After having played for 90 minutes, Ramiro Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escuadrón Mercenario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of El Pulpo Paceño booed when Escuadrón Mercenario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sasoin Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Pulpo Paceño's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
