Sedeni Abellaneda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sedeni Abellaneda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Wiman in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quinito Abellaneda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingmar Wiman in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinito Abellaneda saved Sporting Cristal from getting behind. The supporters of Sporting Cristal booed when Deportivo Empate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zunbeltz Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinito Abellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolai Skivild in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipillo Abeitia in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Kristoffer Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Nickolai Skivild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinito Abellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
