In the 11th minute Daniel Onega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Giorgio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Orkatz Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on El Pulpo Paceño's corner Kamil Glik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonio Giorgio quite easily take care of the ball. In the 47th minute, Ramon Iztal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Bayern Boliviano getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Felipe Abendano hit a great ball. Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Boliviano from getting a goal against them. Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Lluc in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Iztal in the 71st minute of play forced El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Nicanor Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cooper Schurter in the 76th minute of play. Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the final whistle sounded El Pulpo Paceño left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bayern Boliviano.
