In the 72nd minute, Håkan Rudkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Giorgio came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Empate's Behe Abarca. But to his dismay, Behe Abarca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bayern Boliviano made a substitution. Álvaro Peña replaced Cooper Schurter. The crowd rose to their feet as Ingmar Wiman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonio Giorgio. That made the score 0-2 in the 85 minute of play. After 93 played minutes Bayern Boliviano got a freekick which was hit by Beat Abendano. Justo Mano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonio Giorgio. Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
