In the 19th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Salles in the 21st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Conrad Moore in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Equipo's Raul Vigil. Equipo's Ismael Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Equipo from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 32nd minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietro Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Bras didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Léo Barros was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Felipe Liher got control of the ball when 俞辉正 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Hampus Nordström replaced Atilla Bumin Hızlan. After 85 minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
