But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Akarsu couldn't finish the play. Orlando Maiorga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ismael Gimenez made a huge save. Mircea Buciuceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Ismael Gimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Maiorga. In the 28thth minute of the game Sebastean Battaglia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quimeras Jrs.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastean Battaglia in the 29th minute. Quimeras Jrs.'s Sebastean Battaglia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Gimenez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Quimeras Jrs.'s Sebastean Battaglia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Gimenez. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. Quimeras Jrs.'s Elias Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's Aziz Akarsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Jordy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mircea Buciuceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Jordy having to interfere. Eleuterio Gutierrez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Deportivo Mukenio's Aziz Akarsu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Aziz Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Aziz Akarsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Mukenio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quimeras Jrs. the free kick.
