Primitivo Jeraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Calado's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Primitivo Jeraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Rodrigo Bautista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otoniel Bonet. The goal made the score 4-2. In the 37thth minute of the game Rodrigo Bautista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terapia Intensiva's Otoniel Bonet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otoniel Bonet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Otoniel Bonet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Bautista went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper Otoniel Bonet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Bautista. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivo Calado was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Otoniel Bonet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista in the 89th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Terapia Intensiva players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palermo AFC.
