The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mapovihesa FC's Rafael Figueroa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Yuriy Babushkin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usain Bolt in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Usain Bolt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapovihesa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Usain Bolt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usain Bolt in the 25th minute of play. Usain Bolt struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Yuriy Babushkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mapovihesa FC. Usain Bolt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuriy Babushkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Mapovihesa FC got a corner. Deportivo Messina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kálmán Pádár ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Kent Saka advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Usain Bolt in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuriy Babushkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mapovihesa FC booed when Deportivo Messina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usain Bolt in the 38th minute of play. A very nice done corner allowed Kent Saka to score against Yuriy Babushkin in Deportivo Messina's goal. 3-0 after 43 minutes. In the 47th minute Rene Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Potocianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Usain Bolt to strike the kick off in the second half. Constantin Potocianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuriy Babushkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yuriy Babushkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Usain Bolt in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuriy Babushkin saved Deportivo Messina from getting behind. Usain Bolt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
