Vladimiro Lauro scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Horado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gipuzkoa Chamochin in the 16th minute of play. Ignacio Palos made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Muni Cero. With a little luck, Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa got control of the ball when Vladimiro Jerold tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 31st minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Anacleto Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Sosa was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Vladimiro Jerold capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vladimiro Jerold really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Vladimiro Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Lauro to strike the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Palos got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gipuzkoa Chamochin. Vladimiro Jerold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Sosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Los Gallos were awarded a corner. Boyko Rushkarski went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Vikingos FC defense, Marcos Abellan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Sosa. The Vikingos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Sosa should have stopped the shot. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Victor Abaurre replaced Roque Vito. Vikingos FC's Ladislao Erramu was substituted for Vladimiro Lauro. Vikingos FC's Luciano Lleir was substituted for Per-Olof Vallmark. In the 73rd minute, Ladislao Erramu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vikingos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 81st match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Iban to maneuver through the defense. Marek Torm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee gave Vikingos FC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marek Torm, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado. 2-3. After 98 minutes of play, Vikingos FC's Ladislao Erramu made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anacleto Horado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vikingos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
