Jorrin Briones might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Iztal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorrin Briones ran back to his position shaking his head. Aristides Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorrin Briones in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Ishmael. 28 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Ishmael came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lajos Tímár made a kick off. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Bernard in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, GangsTaz F. C.'s Abel Bernard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferenc Tököli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, GangsTaz F. C.'s Abel Bernard got a free kick in the 56th minute. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco was substituted for Luís Paulo da Fonseca. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Cristiano Salah was substituted for Jorrin Briones. In the 57th minute, Abel Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GangsTaz F. C.'s Aristides Iztal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save GangsTaz F. C. from getting a goal against them. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lajos Tímár in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute Cristiano Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when GangsTaz F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Salah kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aristides Iztal.
