The referee ignored Urko FC's protests and gave Rigoberto Madeo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Urko FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rigoberto Madeo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Asier got free with Teodosio Vedillo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Diego Manilan got a free kick in the 8th minute. Teodosio Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Bizi in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Hurko in the 16th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Bizi in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Bizi in the 20th minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Leones FC's Martin Asier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Urko FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Vedillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Asier. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Paez in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Calvino. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Guillelme in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Alejo Louis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teodosio Vedillo. The goal made the score 2-0. When Leones FC's Nicolas Bizi in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urko FC's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Asier was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Alejo Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Louis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Asier in the 55th minute of the match. Rigoberto Madeo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Santo Hurko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 60th playminute. Diego Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Vedillo having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Constantino Ongile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Urko FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Ongile. 74 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Guillelme came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Bartolo Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Bartolo Cresconio got a free kick in the 80th minute. Leopoldo Lastur was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Uriel Guillelme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Uriel Guillelme really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 92nd minute, Bartolo Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Urko FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
