The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Gaitan got free with Leopoldo Lastur in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mickael Wuyts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Leones FC got a corner. Bahía é Carnaval's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dante Mannie ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Leones FC's Dante Mannie to fire away a dangerous shot which Mickael Wuyts despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute, Edgardo Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Florin struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Leopoldo Lastur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahía é Carnaval. In the 30th minute, Vinicio Florin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Lastur. The goal made the score 1-0. Emilio Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A hard shot 38 in the game by Vinicio Florin from a close distance when the talented Leopoldo Lastur managed to make a qualified save. Leones FC's players were relieved. In the 47th minute, Bartolo Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur got control of the ball when Vinicio Florin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Playo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ciro Playo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Playo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Vinicio Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Playo came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Ciro Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Manilan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Playo in the 71st minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ciro Playo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Gaitan in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Bahía é Carnaval got a corner. Leones FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pastor Lano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Bahía é Carnaval's corner Pastor Lano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leopoldo Lastur quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Playo in the 79th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael Wuyts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Louis in the 81st minute of play. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Gaitan in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Luis Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Iban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, one of Leones FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Iban in the 98th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Luis Iban sped through Leones FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bahía é Carnaval fully deserved thier win.
