The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes Angua FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norberto Acevedo who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Hermengildo Itzaina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 12thth minute of the game Carolo Eufemio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Angua FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Angua FC's Calixto Landoff looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Insúa in the 21st minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Venceslao came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Uwe Septinius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute of the match, Carolo Eufemio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uwe Septinius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Insúa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Federico Insúa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ladislao Osasun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Braulio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Grigoris Berzovitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carolo Eufemio made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Lopes came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Insúa came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Eufemio in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigoris Berzovitis got free with Ladislao Osasun in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carolo Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uwe Septinius having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Eufemio in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Septinius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uwe Septinius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Puch in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Carolo Eufemio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uwe Septinius was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Puch came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Liquisue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Braulio Lopes was slow to take the kick. During this time Angua FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Roberto Puch heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Laurendi during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Marco Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Acevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uwe Septinius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Puch in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Liquisue FC's Norberto Acevedo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Braulio Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angua FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
