Yu Jian Tian started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Yu Jian Tian made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Errapel. Santa Maradona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 13th minute, Francisco Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14thth minute of the game Yu Jian Tian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santa Maradona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Galtero was slow to take the kick. During this time ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Teofilo Galtero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Errapel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 21st minute Miguel Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Jian Tian in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Errapel saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. Marcelino Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Transito, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Yu Jian Tian took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Jian Tian in the 38th minute of play. Jonathan Errapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Jian Tian in the 41st minute of the match. Yu Jian Tian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Errapel having to make a save. Marcelino Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Thomas in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Flor saved ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Jian Tian in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Errapel saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. After 59 minutes Santa Maradona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lautaro Acosta who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's corner Lautaro Acosta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Errapel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ratan Ayala to maneuver through the defense. José Sand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Sand, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Rigoberto Thomas got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Rigoberto Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute José Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Sand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Errapel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Marcelino Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Transito in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Maradona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Maradona's zone, José Sand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal and José Sand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Lautaro Acosta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Errapel. Santa Maradona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Acosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santa Maradona for a fine match.
