After 18 played minutes Azul Y Plomo got a freekick which was hit by Salas Larrinzar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor Bern in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branislav Velchevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute of the match ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a corner. Azul Y Plomo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petrică Măcriș ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Elpidio Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Cabrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Cabrero. Azul Y Plomo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Francis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Azul Y Plomo's attentive Salas Larrinzar managed to snatch the ball when Everardo Cordarell made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Zacarias Cabrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Snell in the 40th minute of the match. Timoteo Basualdo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mustafa Ali Cansoy hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tor Bern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ali Cansoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, André Monclús had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Cabrero. Azul Y Plomo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Monclús was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that André Monclús's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Cabrero was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 65th minute Tor Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azul Y Plomo's Eduardo Macías was substituted for Tor Bern. Azul Y Plomo's Hector-Luis Arzola was substituted for Latif Biçim. Nicolas Diniz made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon. In the 70th minute, Timoteo Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Arzola, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The referee ignored ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's protests and gave Arnaldo Gabon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Azul Y Plomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Arzola to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when André Monclús came free, but Zacarias Cabrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Arzola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Azul Y Plomo's corner Navarro Rojas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Branislav Velchevski quite easily take care of the ball. The Azul Y Plomo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
